Z-Lift —
Zone-Specific Facial Lifting

Dr. Sin Yong's proprietary zone-specific protocol delivers intensified focal transduction energy to precisely targeted facial zones — each assigned a specific energy type, depth and intensity calibrated to that zone's individual pattern of laxity and descent.

The Approach

Targeted Rather Than Broad

Conventional energy-based facial treatments apply energy broadly across the face in a uniform pattern — the same settings for the jowl as for the eye area, the same intensity for the temple as for the nasolabial fold. This is efficient for general lifting but less precise for patients with zone-specific concerns.

The Z-Lift protocol maps each patient's individual pattern of laxity, volume loss and skin quality change, then assigns an energy modality and intensity calibrated to that specific zone. The jowl zone may receive more aggressive lifting energy while the periorbital zone receives gentler, more superficial energy. This zone-specific approach produces more efficient outcomes with less total energy burden across the face.

Z-Lift works well as a standalone treatment for patients with zone-specific concerns, or as a precision component added to a broader lifting protocol such as the VF Lift or Time Freeze Laser.

Treatment Zones

Six Zones That Can Be Targeted

Jowl Zone
High-intensity focal energy to the jowl and pre-jowl sulcus for targeted lifting and tissue tightening in the most common area of descent.
Submental Zone
Targeted energy to the under-chin fat and platysmal bands for an improved neck-chin transition and reduced double chin.
Periorbital Zone
Gentle focal energy to address under-eye hollowing, fine lines and skin laxity around the eye — a zone requiring precise, low-intensity delivery.
Temple & Brow
Lifting energy to the temple and lateral brow for improved brow position and reduced temporal hollowing.
Nasolabial Zone
Focal energy to the tissue causing nasolabial folds — addressing the fold through structural lifting rather than volume addition alone.
Marionette Zone
Targeted protocol for the marionette and pre-jowl region to lift descended tissue and define the lower facial contour.

The Protocol

How Z-Lift Works

01
Zone Mapping
Dr. Sin Yong maps each zone of the face individually, assigning a severity grade and selecting the optimal energy type and depth for each zone based on the patient's specific pattern of laxity.
02
Zone-by-Zone Treatment
Energy is delivered to each zone using the calibrated protocol for that zone — different intensity, depth and modality as determined at the mapping stage. The jowl may receive different parameters than the periorbital zone.
03
Integration Review
After all zones are treated, Dr. Sin Yong reviews the overall result and performs final adjustments to ensure the outcome is balanced across the full face.
04
Progressive Development
Results in each zone develop at different rates. A review at 4–6 weeks allows assessment of zone-specific outcomes and planning for any follow-up treatment.

FAQ

Z-Lift — Common Questions

Ask a Question
The Z-Lift (Zone-Specific Localised Intensified Focal Transduction) is a proprietary zone-specific lifting protocol at Atelier Aesthetics. Rather than applying uniform energy across the face, Dr. Sin Yong maps each patient's individual pattern of laxity and assigns a specifically calibrated energy type, intensity and depth to each facial zone — producing more targeted outcomes with less total energy burden.
Standard treatments apply uniform energy parameters across the face — the same settings regardless of which zone is being treated. The Z-Lift maps each zone individually and assigns a specific energy type, intensity and depth calibrated to that zone's specific need, producing more targeted results.
The jowl, submental (under-chin) and nasolabial zones typically show the most pronounced response. Periorbital (around the eye) and temporal (temple) zones also respond well with appropriate energy calibration.
Most patients see meaningful improvement after a single Z-Lift session. A second session may be recommended at 3–6 months for zones where more progressive remodelling is desired.
Yes — Z-Lift can be used as a standalone targeted treatment for specific zone concerns, or as a precision component of a broader lifting protocol such as the VF Lift or Time Freeze Laser.
Lifting effects in the jowl and submental zones typically last 12–18 months. Collagen stimulation results continue to develop for 3–6 months after treatment. Maintenance is recommended annually.
